The Williamson County Sheriff's Office currently has 18 Deputies assigned to Patrol Positions.

These Deputies provide residents of the County with 24 hour police protection.  In addition to calls for service and emergency calls, Patrol Deputies are responsible for serving Warrants, Orders of Protection, and other documents from the courts as well as  Civil Process Service.

Deputies also conduct a number of self-initiated activities such as security checks of local businesses and churches during the overnight hours, and House watch checks for residents who are on vacation.

Patrol Deputies also conduct regular compliance-checks on the registered sex offenders who live in the county.

Williamson County Deputies patrol 1318 miles of road, highway, and street.  There are 640 miles of county road, 124 miles of State Highway, and 553 miles of city street in Williamson county.
