Telephone Use

Each cell block in the Williamson County Jail are equipped with telephones for use by inmates between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM.  These phones are out-going only, they will not receive calls.  These telephone calls may be monitored or recorded.

These telephones can place calls in two ways, by making a collect-call or by using a pre-paid calling card purchased through the Jail.

The Williamson County Jail allows inmates to purchase these pre-paid calling cards because many inmates need to call out to cellular phones, and most cell phones will not receive a collect call.  Inmates can use the calling cards to place calls to cell phones.  Pre-paid phone cards may be purchased for $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00.

Persons who wish to receive calls on a cell phone from an inmate may also contact Consolidated Communications at 1-800-235-4416 to make billing arrangements.

Persons who are receiving unwanted telephone calls from an inmate of the Williamson County Jail should contact Consolidated Communications at 1-800-235-4416 to have their telephone number placed on the Jail's "Do Not Call" list.
